If u can go back in time, who do you want to meet?Julius Caesar?Cleopatra?Hang Tuah? Or P.Ramlee?
Imagine :after witnessing major events in history unfold, you ca jump into your time machine and fast forward to the future where you can meet your great, great grandchildren if you want to!
It’s these possibilities that have made time travel the favourite subject of of so many sci-fi books and movies. But how viable.really,is time travel?
As we all know,no one has successfully demonstrated time travel, but no one has been able to rule it out either.Albert Einstein’s theory of special relativity probably laid the foundation for the scientific possibility of time travel.
As Einstein’s theory has it,time slows as an object approaches the speed of light, convincing many scientist that time travelling may just be possible if we can travel faster than the speed of light.
It will really be awesome to own a robot that will have mind like a human. We can teach it to learn how to do things, speak and come up with great ideas for our school projects.
This intellectual ability is called artificial intelligence(AI).Scientists predict that when they can create AI,robots will play a larger role in our daily lives in the future.Like computers, robots will move from the indrustial and scientific worlds into our homes.Although we are long way off from full AI capacity, some progress has been made with robots that have limited “thinking” abilities. This combined with the advancements made in the field of robotics, means that we might see very human-like robots or cyborgs in the future.
Unfortunately, progress in AI research is slow as the human brain is still a mystery to scientist, who do not fully understand how and why we learn and think. Then, there is the danger aspect-scientist believe the smarter robots get,the higher the chances they will turn into a killer robot.
Although some might ignore that little detail if the robot looks as hot as Cameron or Marcus Wright(from the Terminator series),others will be relieved to know that scientistare developing an automatic shutdown chip in robots in case they malfunction.
The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the 19th FIFA World Cup, the premier international football tournament. It is scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa. The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the culmination of a qualification process that began in August 2007 and involved 204 of the 208 FIFA national teams. As such, it matches the 2008 Summer Olympics as the sports event with the most competing nations.
This will be the first time that the tournament has been hosted by an African nation, after South Africa defeated Morocco and Egypt in an all-African bidding process. This decision left the Oceania Football Confederation as the only confederation yet to host the FIFA World Cup. Italyare the defending champions, after winning the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. The draw for the finals took place on 4 December 2009 inCape Town.
What is a conflict? Conflicts is the thing that can happen to anyone, even friends! But how we can handle them makes a big difference. Sometimes when we are mad, we may say and do things we don't mean. We might really regret it later. Name 3 ways to cool down. 1. Take a bath. 2. Listen to music. 3. Sleep.
Title : Holes In The Fence Written by : Sheikh Hassan Seylan 'Abad Illustrated by : Raihan Munif Bahasuan Published by : Abad Ceria Enterprise Synopsis :The story is about a boy who has a very bad temper. He had no friends. His parents and his siblings were afraid of him. His father gave him a towel and looked like a servant. The boy felt sad and he knew that he was doing wrong all the time. He wanted to change and his father gave him some nails and a hammer. Whenever he had a bad temper, he must knock a nail on the house's fence. One day, he did not knock on the fence and he knew that his temper was good. He was happy . He returned the nails and hammer back to his father. He was shocked when his father asked him to keep the hammer. His father said that he have to take out the nails everyday. He did what his father said and his father told him that there are always scars and it will never ever go away. When he heard that, he decided to change his behaviour.
I like this story because it is very interesting and also very touching.I like the part when he throw he's shoe to his father's. The moral value of this story is we have to respect our family members, friens and the person that older than us. I enjoyed the story very much.
